DAY 1

Afternoon - Independent arrival at the accomodation chose. Accomodation in the Pistoia area (see list of hotels/farm holidays/self-catering apartments available for this program)

DAY 2
Morning – guided walking tour of Pistoia, discover the hidden jewel of Tuscany. This amazing city will surprise the visitor with its charm, history and art.
The walking tour will pass through the city centre and its amazing narrow paved streets, medieval palaces, churches and squares. You will also stop in the most important food corners: the ancient fruit & veggie market, the oldest pastry shop, hand-made chocolate shop, etc. to terminate in a charming bistrot where you will have the chance to enjoy a glass of wine and a plate of typical cold meats (hams, salami, etc), cheeses and bruschette.
Afternoon – Guided tour of equipped archeological trail in the Bishop’s Palace to retrace the archeological history of Pistoia since the roman age.
Discovered the classic and conteporary art collection: the tactile museum which represents the main monuments of Pistoia and the underground of Piazza del Duomo.

DAY 3
Morning – Step back in the past through the historical underground path of 2000 years ago. Discovered how Pistoia was first build , its shape , narrows roads, the Ceppo Hospital history, one of the oldest still working hospital of the world , the everyday life of Pistoians, the medical tools museum and the medical amphiteatre, all in an exciting few hours trail
Laboratory: become archeologist for a few hours and enjoythe incredible feeling to bring back to life pieces of history.
